Welcome to Day 2 of the Trinity Stamps Winter Release Blog Hop!
If you hopped along with us on Day 1, thank you for celebrating this special release with us! This release is one of the best I’ve seen! Loads of Harry Potter themed goodies (this makes me happy!!), their very first scene builder die set, super cute rhino stamps, new confetti packs, and sooo much more!
I’m very excited to share with you all their very first standalone die:Castle Scene Builder! This set is one of my favorites that was released! It includes a castle that mysteriously resembles the Hogwarts castle, trees, stars, a moon, landscape die, and even a quidditch hoop!! So much loooove!
I die cut everything for this card using my Sizzix Big Shot and some score tape to hold the dies down on my snaps of paper. I found a scrap of gorgeous shimmery silver cardstock for the castle, and die cut a second castle in yellow so I could use the smaller bits for the windows and door. I then colored over the door with a light brown Copic marker.
I popped up all three layers of the grass, so this card is very dimensional, possibly the thickest card I have made to date! I love how simple the landscape die is in this set, and that it can be used in many angles to cut out a different landscape each card. I’m gonna get so many uses out of this, and that makes me (and my husband’s wallet) happy 😛
I made this beautiful sky background by using a SSS Falling Stars background stamp spritzed with some water pressed onto a cardstock blended with Distress Oxides. The water spritzing allows the ink to lift to get this cool effect. I added clear Sickles to the stars, and Nuvo Shimmer Pen to some of the stars on the background and the moon.
I hope you all enjoyed my card for Day 2 of the Trinity Stamps Winter Release Blog Hop! Head over to the Trinity Stamps website to see all the new products included in this winter release, and snag yourself something fun while you’re there!
